The Team Behind Kima — AI Basketball Shooting Coach.

Kima is an AI basketball coaching platform built by former professional players, coaches, and technology founders.
We are the builders, the athletes, and the coaches — and the first users of our own product.
How we got started.
Kima was born from a simple frustration: Too often, players put in hours of work without clear feedback, structure, or a reliable way to measure improvement. We experienced that firsthand as athletes, coaches, and builders searching for a smarter way to train and grow.
That experience became the foundation for Kima. We set out to create the tool we wished existed, a system designed to turn effort into visible progress, remove guesswork, and help players train with more purpose, confidence, and consistency every step of the way.

Growth and partnership.
As Kima continued to grow, partnering with the local YMCA became an important step in our journey. By supporting their teams with our technology, we were able to stay closely connected to the basketball community while continuing to improve the platform.
The partnership also gave Kima access to the Hotel Arthur basketball court, creating a convenient space for hands-on testing and development that helped shape the app into what it is today.
This is who we are.
We're a small team with a big obsession: unlocking human potential through smarter training. Based in Helsinki, built for the world.
